Nice hotel. Great location. Were able to park once and walk to save on parking costs. Rate was right in our affordable price range which is why we chose it. Will stay there again for sure. . But will bring smaller vehicle. Parking is tight and crew cab truck was hard to park and get back out.

Clean but bed sucked

The staff was friendly and the room clean, but the bed was uncomfortable and there was only one roll of toilet paper for our weekend stay.

We loved our stay at Old Orchard Beach’s “Barbie House”. The house was clean, comfortable and of course Barbie themed! I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff and can’t wait to go back! The location was absolutely perfect - just steps to the beach.

Great experience. Super friendly. Beach is literally across the street and an easy walk to shops and palace playland. Loved having a kitchenette and a pool. Definitely will be back.

We stated for one night, the staff was very helpful with setting up an after hours check in as our travel was delayed. The room was clean and although you are close to the street it was quiet. The only issue with the property was that parking was tight.

We had a great stay the room is aged but very clean and great location. The parking lot is tiny so it was tricky parking our car. I would not advise for larger vehicles. The owner came by and greeted us which was very nice.

Decent place

The hotel is in a good location easy walk to restaurants, shops and beach. The shower is very small and could use a shelf to hold items. The room was decent, clean, bed was comfortable. Small doable things should be addressed such as the bathroom door should have been replaced. The parking lot is a little tight. I stayed in room 7. Pool looked clean and nice.

There’s a train track right behind the motel, with an Amtrak train going by. I’m not sure why many reviews did not mention it, but it was so loud! It scared me and woke me up during my sleep several times. The train horn goes off LOUDLY each time it passes by, and it does run throughout the night. I am a light sleeper. My kids did sleep through most of it. Had I known this, I would not have booked. Otherwise, it’s near the beach, place was clean. The parking lot is definitely tight. The beds were not too bad. Overall, it was an okay stay. Wouldn’t go back

We loved our stay at the OOB Motel. The property was cute, though parking was definitely a challenge. They cleared an area for us to park, but the lot was hard to maneuver. The property was walking distance from the pier and beach, but tucked away enough that it was quiet and peaceful. The pool looked very clean and well maintained, but we did not get a chance to use it, Upon arrival, we were informed that there was an issue with Expedia, and our room had been double booked. Although they could've turned us away, they upgraded us to a newly renovated condo style setup that was much better fit for us. It was gorgeous, with a large spacious living room, fully stocked kitchen and even a patio. Each room was very comfortable, with a TV, and closet space to store our items. We only wished we could’ve stayed longer! Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would love to return next time we are in Maine. Thank you OOB Motel!! - The Parkers

This was my first time staying in OOB. I don’t really have many complaints about my stay. The receptionist was helpful at check in. the beds and room were fairly clean; plastic pads on bed, clean blankets. I wish the bathroom/toilet was cleaned a bit better though. The tv is pretty big and you can connect to streaming services. the wifi is spotty but we were out most of the time so it wasn’t a huge deal. there is a train track right behind the motel and gets loud but it’s along the back of the whole strip of motels. it was a short walk to the main area of town and the beach access is directly across the street. There are restaurants and shops all the way down the street the motel is on as you walk towards town. The pool goes to 8ft and is heated which was a nice perk. I would probably stay here if i came back.
