"This was a very clean hotel with a very well stocked breakfast. The reason for our lower star review was their pool was they couldn't get the door unlocked to the pool. We were told by the front desk that she would call and get it figured out....we waited.....then she told us that she couldn't get in there tonight but that maintenance would be there at 6 am to get it open. We went to bed with hopes of our 9 year old getting to swim for a short time in the morning before we had to leave. Then at 7:00am my husband goes down to the front desk and they tell him that the door is still locked and maintenance won't be in until 9am to open the door. We had to leave by 8:45 to get to our destination on time so we left with a very upset 9 year old and honestly I was a little irritated that they kept giving us the run around about it. If the door is broken and unable to be opened then say so....it would have been better if they had just told us last night that swimming was off the table because they don't know how to operate their door system or don't care enough about guest satisfaction to send someone in to simply open a door. I'm just glad no one was locked in the pool area because evidently it would have been a job for the fire department! "

"I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was great, very informative and helpful. The room was very clean the area very quiet and relaxing. Safe and free to park. The tub, the TUB I would 100% come again. It was hot! Very nice! Highly recommend 👌"

"The room was huge but the base around the tube was dark and dirty..I only stayed one night and moved to another hotel because of the miss leading information on line about the distance to get to Langston University for my nieces event. I was told I would get a refund by on agent and then told that they was responsible for the refund that Expedia was because we booked through a third party.. Now Expedia says it’s the Holiday Express was responsible for the my refund.. I am wondering where is my refund because we had to travel an hour away and was told by the agent that the price we paid was to much and on top of it all the breakfast offer was horrible, locks on the doors broken bad choice!! I need my money back "
