"The hotel is conveniently located near to a train/metro station and was a good base for our 3-day exploration of central Netherlands. However, having been to Holiday Inn Express in Utrecht just before this stay, I could compare the two and I must notice that this hotel (or at least our room) felt a bit worn out in comparisson with Utrecht. Additionally, the bed was not comfortable at all and the pillows were to small. But we did get another pillow when we asked at the reception. So all in all, a solid 3.5/5."

"The hotel is an excellent location, right by the Museumplein tram stop (~25 min bus from airport), the Rijksmuseum/Van Gogh museums, and ~15-30 min walk to the Jordaan and more central spots. The neighborhood was quiet, and the hotel was right on the Vondelpark. There was always someone at the desk/entrance. Truly my only annoyance was that we arrived a couple of hours before check-in to drop off bags, our room happened to be ready, but we were asked to pay a ~20 euro charge for an early check-in fee if we wanted to actually access the room (we had not requested early check-in in). We paid it, as it was worth it to us to clean up after an overnight international flight, but I’ve never been asked to do this before."

"Wonderful hotel. Excellently decorated. Nice staff. We had a standard room but it was large and spacious with plenty of room for us to unpack our luggage. Great lighting (that’s one of my biggest gripes on hotel rooms). Very comfortable & massive bed. Lovely shower & bathroom with nice toiletries and amenities. Moana lounge on the first floor was great. Emil was our waiter - he was so attentive, friendly and kind, fantastic team member… Great location, right next to Amsterdam Rai Station and Metro for getting in and out of town easily. We loved it. Would highly recommend. Took a nice stroll to AmstelPark on Sunday where they had a market on."

"Decent and clean rooms when we checked-in. Great fresh breakfast everyday! Very friendly and resourceful staff. Airconditioning and heating working fine. Our best choice for LOCATION exploring Amsterdam. Walking distance to Central Station, Metro subway and the must see sights. Plenty of food and shops right at our doorstep."

"Small room, but it was comfortable and had everything I needed. The room was big enough for the bed, a shower, sink, small desk, and toilet. Plus a tv on the wall. But that was all I really need out of a room. You had to squeeze by the bed to get to the other side of the room. The breakfast was a great start to my day with an assortment of breads, juices, coffees, and soft boiled eggs and mini pancakes. The airport shuttle was nice as well. Ran every 20 minutes all day."
