"Es ist ein ungewöhnlicher Ort, der einen in die Zeit der 70er zurückreisen lässt. Der Pool ist ein Traum und das Hotel sehr atmosphärisch. Sicher müsste man einiges instandsetzen, was ich auch empfehle, aber trotzdem waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstück allerdings war etwas traurig. Aufgeschnittenes Obst und Pancakes nur am Wochenende (warum?). Pancakes, aber ohne Puderzucker oder Ahornsirup? Müsli, aber nur Cornflakes und Crunchy Zeug, wo sind die Haferflocken? es muss kein überbordendes...

"After staying in 7 different hotels in 7 days in Portugal, the Suave Mar easily stands out as the best. Reception and bar staff (the only staff that I had contact with) were outstanding. The cleaning of my room and the rest of the hotel demonstrates the high standard of the domestics work. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpfull, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. "The host greeted us at the gate with keys and a quick tour of the lovely property. This house is the best location in which we have ever stayed: Attention to detail is evident everywhere from the bed and bath linens to the kitchenware to the overall design of the unit’s layout. Very clean and brightly lit, yet with excellent privacy. The neighborhood is quiet and quite suitable for a stroll to view others' gardens. Guest comfort is paramount though and through."
