The location of the hotel is very good, nice and quite area. the service is also good. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Good hotel

Located in good part of the city, the Synevo lab is very close with the cheapest antigen test (300 hryvna). ATB is in walking distance, restaurant is close. Unfortunately no elevator but they helped me with my luggage on a third floor. Also no kettle in a room but they gave me cups and boiled water so I could make myself a breakfast. I would suggest to have a sealed drinking bottle water instead what they got. It’s not sealed and kind of dangerous to drink. So I bought a bottle in ATB. Overall it’s a good hotel and definitely will be back

Отель имеет неплохое расположение. В нашем люкс номере в одном из окон, выходящих во двор, отсутствовала москитная сетка, потому ночью покусали комары. Кровать была сломана с одной стороны и матрас немного проваливался. Душевая кабина также была очень старой и требующей замены. Из плюсов: один из немногих отелей, где вам дадут зубные щетки, полы с подогревом.

Pros: - great location in the city centre of Odessa, within the quick walk to the main boulevard - room standard - no reason to complain about - good English command of a lady at the reception (pretty unusual for Odessa) Cons: - no breakfast, since there was a kitchen refurbishment. As a compensation we received 2 youghurts, cakes, bananas and two sandwiches (salami just put on the bread). Insufficient for two persons - During our stay no one has cleaned the room or even replenished the toiletries

Restaurangen och receptionen var helt under uppbyggnad så ingen frukost ingick som vi betalade för. Det saknades delar i duschkabinen så det var hål rakt i i väggen, funktionerna i duschen fungerade inte, lamporna till badrumsspegeln fungerade inte så det var ganska mörkt. Fimpmären i bäddmadrassden (syntes genom lakanet) bl.a. dela balkong med grannen där båda hade full insyn in i sovrummen. Men för priset och syftet så var det OK.... :)

Spacious, but lacks some common services

The room was spacious, which was good. But the air conditioning did not work. The staff were friendly enough, but for the most part, didn't speak any western European languages, such as english, spanish or french. There was no daily housekeeping. The shower was very cumbersome to operate. There was some construction going on, so it was necessary to enter through a seedy looking alley through an improvised side entrance. With some minor changes, this could be a pretty decent option. Wifi was good. Really the biggest issue here was the lack of air conditioning. The location is an easy 10 or 15 minute walk from many of Odessa's popular tourist attractions. So it was a good price for OK accommodations.

Boomerang Business Hotel-let’s just say that the description on Orbitz is not inaccurate, but not complete. First, for a business traveler, a hotel should be quiet. If you want a good night's sleep, this hotel is NOT for you! Traffic noise is extremely loud & is 24/7. Wi-Fi service is questionable at best. Their free breakfast was delivered to my room because their dining room was closed/under construction (this could be mentioned in their description & easily edited upon completion). Very sparse amenities, only 2 glasses, 2 cups, a coffee maker (no coffee, just tea) and a refrigerator. No utensils of any sort. Soundproofing internally is poor and oh yes, don't forget the traffic noise! The room was clean. However, I did almost fall off of toilet on first use as the lid was unattached. There is no telephone service to the rooms. If you have a message it may be at reception, but likely it won’t be delivered. I later learned that they do NOT take messages for guests! Amenities: soap and shampoo, but not even a pen to write with. TV works but reception is terrible. No English-speaking channels except music videos. Support for English-speaking guests is limited. The one lady that seems to staff the hotel, does just about everything, is very helpful, but is limited in her English speaking/comprehension. Advertised as a Business Hotel there is no space, equipment (PC, printer, etc.) to allow business to be done other than in your room through a sporadic Internet connection.

ODESSA ODYSSEY

Dima and staff such as Alexandra were keen to help and make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is incredibly well - situated near all key facilities and also next to the separate Frappoli 21 hotel who serve meals and drinks for a fee if you go there.. Our large rooms had fridges and WiFi and a huge breakfast - mostly cold -with occasional hot items and a hot drink - was brought to our rooms every morning by friendly staff. The staff welcome visitors, particularly those who come with a positive attitude. Staff rose before 5 am on the last morning to facilitate our return journey.

Not worth a stay!

Decided to try Boomerang hotel, as its location suited my travel plans. BIG mistake. The hotel "reception" itself is a small desk manned by either a concierge or by their CLEANING staff ! The concierge, who received me, could firstly NOT find the booking. Then I showed my print out, and he 'almost' saw it. Then he insisted I PROVE that payment was made, which was quite ridiculous, as it was written on the booking. Didnt have time to argue with him, so went to my meeting, telling him , we will discuss when I/m back. On return- he said, yes, payment was made. Rooms- claustrophobic , match-box sized. Don't know how they can sell it as double rooms. The sound insulation from busy street below is ZERO - hence expect noise 24x7. Even with the window shut. Well- the only point is, you can NOT really shut the window, as when you put on teh a/c it makes a rattling noise WORSE than the noise from the street. The breakfast served is equally poor. The coffee, both the days I was there, I poured out into the sink. Was absolute crap. Oh yes- did I mention two cockroaches in the bath room?? My advice- stay away from this place. There are other options at the same price- go for this instead . ( e.g California Hotel - where I stayed previously).
