"The property is conveniently located in an ideal location centrally to many walkable attractions. It is on one of the most beautiful streets in the historic area. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The courtyard was a relaxing retreat throughout the day. The hotel was offering breakfast that was creative and delicious. They also offered an evening wine and cheese social which provided an opportunity to meet with others staying at the property. ...

"The room was very spacious. More like a 1 bedroom apartment. They offered a happy hour but unfortunately we weren’t able to take advantage of it due to having other activities at the same time. Water and soda was available in the lobby. Walkable to everything. Staff friendly and helpful."

"The breakfast was not consistent, but there was a wide variety. I think for being a Michelin star it should’ve had homemade pastries not store-bought. I also feel like it should’ve had a small microwave in the room and makeup wipes or makeup towel or something to clean your face with. The bedding was amazing Mattress a bit soft for our taste, but that’s a hard one to get right."

"We had a slight hiccup with the room due to a housekeeping issue but it was immediately resolved and we were moved. The staff is absolutely amazing here and they go above and beyond. We had breakfast and drinks at Bar Julian and it was great. We took advantage of the free ride into town which was a plus! Amanda’s map was so well thought out and we really got an opportunity to really see the town. Stellar service from Amanda, MaKayla, Kevin, Justin and the sweetest bartender in the pool area...

"Very clean room. I didn't have a pet, but they cater to and encourage pet owners (good for them). Retro rooms are great. Very comfortable bed. The only minus is the $25 a day parking fee. It makes the room price artificially low and just seems like a sleazy ploy. The room was worth the total price, it just made me think less of the owners."

"I booked one of the rooms that had access to the courtyard on the ground floor. It was nice to have the option to sit outside, although people did walk by outside. We were able to take our luggage out through the courtyard to our car without having to pull it upstairs to the check-out desk and then downstairs to the street. Chuck (?) was very helpful. The breakfasts were were fresh and filling. We had omelets, bacon, muffins, croissants with jams and butter, yogurt and fruit, juices and coffee....

"The staff was friendly but unhelpful. We struggled to get housekeeping. After the 2nd day with no housekeeping we brought it to their attention and the excuse was that we didn't remove our do not disturb sign until 9:30AM. Apparently if the sign is not removed before 9, the room is not cleaned that day. The cleaning we did get was not thorough. There are no luggage racks and were told there is table for suitcases which our room was missing. Staff made no attempt or suggestion to have a table...

"Room was very quaint. Could use a deep clean. Dropped an earring and had get under the dresser to get it and there was a lot of dirt and trash under it. Restaurant was beautiful and food was delicious. Bar was very nice. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and River St."

"The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing! It was such a pleasure to stay in a historic home. We were in a very quiet area and walking to the river district or other areas of the historic district was easy and close. Private parking was a plus and great. "The building is beautiful and very charming. The room we stayed is very spacious and it was for the most part well maintained considering that is an old building. The curtain to the terrace is not well placed and has zip ties holding and some wiring. The jet tub was not very clean and barely hot water. Fully open was just luck warming and even after waiting more than the 5 min they asked (15 min). I asked the staff to change the water heater temperature as plumber, I knew what I was asking. It...

"We choose this location as it is close enough to walk to many places but also nice a quiet in the evenings. From entering the home we were greeted by our wonderful hostess Abigail, we found her to be friendly, polite and very accommodating with answering questions and providing information about the area. We would love to return and highly recommend for the price, location and service. Thank you"

"Planter’s Inn is located directly across a five-story, open-air parking garage; a narrow street is between the two. That said, if you don’t mind having to keep the heavy curtains drawn and/or keep the shades down to secure your privacy and to block the glare of headlights at night, while shutting out sunlight all day every day, then Planter’s Inn is the place for you. Had we known this—if this important information was included in the property’s description—we would have never reserved a room...

"Great hotel, very clean and staff were great !!"

"The cost of the hotel was very reasonable for the size of the unit. The kitchen had everything that we needed, and the bathrooms were clean with plenty of towels. The beds were pretty comfortable. The only thing I would nitpick about the hotel are the pillows, they were too soft for us. Even after stacking them, our heads would pretty much be on the mattress after a few hours. Overall the hotel was great, I would just suggest bringing along a pillow you like (if possible)."
