We stayed three nights. The Hotel was clean, the location was perfect in terms of discovering the temples and the service team was always helpful. Prices at the hotel are ridiculous but not problematic since no one forces you to pay 3USD for an expresso sized filter coffee. We discovered the surrounding restaurants via e-scooter... The breakfast was fine. Overall a good place to stay in Bagan.

Excellent hotel
Great hotel and service. Delicious breakfast and well priced hotel restaurant. Just a touch out of the way that’s all but not a big deal at all. Beautiful hotel and great stay.

Vantastic!
The hotel is a fantastic and incredible value. The hotel is modern, new and the service is flawless. The hotel even has a pool. The breakfast was yummy. Don't worry about the location. All the hotels are within ten minutes of wherever you need to go. Old Bagan isn't like a cute colonial town to walk around like Luang Prabang in Laos, so the location is meaningless. The hotel, however, is right near the hot air balloon launch. Go to the roof at 7 am on the day you don't do the balloons for a fantastic photo op to see them overhead. Also, the hotel is near a few stupas, so, at night, the lit-up stupa is magical. This hotel has to be the best deal in Bagan, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Hôtel en bon état
Tres bel établissement avec tous les services a disposition. Hotel recent, en bon etat, chambre slacieuse, avec salle de bain moderne (douche a l italienne), personnel accueillant. Dommage que nous ayons eu une chambre dans un recoin du rez de chaussée sans vue sur la piscine et peu de lumiere naturelle. Restaurant tres bien. Location de e bike juste en face.

Disappointed
While the staff was friendly, we were disappointed in our room. It was rather small and had a large pillar that made getting out of bed a challenge. In addition the food was not very good. Wait staff very nice about filling up my reusable bottle, but both the breakfasts and the one dinner were not tasty.

Problem in Paradise.
Villa Bagan is beautifully appointed with a lovely open design and a tropical garden. However, when I booked the special deal I found we were put into a corner, ground floor room with no natural light or view of any kind. I requested to be moved to another room which was readily organised, with large windows that could be opened. (We don’t like air conditioning). Sadly, we learned the room we were moved to was above the pump that turned off and on throughout the night. The room was lovely but I can’t imagine how a guest could be expected to endure that noise. The hotel was truly delightful with excellent staff and a beautiful Asian style. I hope these problems are sorted as other than the problems we ran into, I would highly recommend a stay here.

Perfect location, wonderful service, beautiful!
This was our favorite hotel during our trip! So clean, so beautiful, everything was just perfect! We arrived around 5am from a night bus and they gave us ebikes immediately so that we could try to catch the sunrise. (Let a local offering on the street help you find it!) conveniently located if you want to head in to new Bagan, but not on a Main Street, so there is privacy too. Delicious breakfast with a lot of food. And the best service. Perfect in every way!

Ein sehr sympatisches Hotel in toller Lage !
Es gibt sicherlich noch luxuriösere Hotels, aber kaum sympatischere Hotels. Die Rezeption ist ständig bemüht den Gast zufriedenzustellen. Ich hatte Prorbleme mit einem Flug der annuliert worden ist. Das mag zwar für viele ein lösbares Problem zu sein, in Myanmar isr das jedoch aufgrund von Sprachproblemen nicht so ohne weiteres möglich. Anschließend druckte die Rezeption mir mein neues Flugticket sogar aus. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und erfreulich groß. Die Klimaanlage ist angenehm leise und nicht zu kalt. Das Internet funktioniert gut und ist auch ausreichend schnell. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und weil es abends auch leise ist habe ich immer gut geschlafen. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur empfehlen und würde auf jeden Fall auch wiederkommen wenn es mich nochmals nach Bagan verschlägt. Auch andere Gäste mit denen ich mich unterhalten habe bestätigten dies. Klare Empfehlung !

뉴바강에 있고, 식사는 그런대로 괜찮고, 엘레베이터는 없고, 바강도시의 특성상 몇몇 호텔에서는 얼리체크인 해준다던데 여기선 기대하지마세요. 택시관광 신청해서 오전4시간 투어 후 12시에 땀에 흠뻑 젖은채 도착했으나 체크인 타임이 2시라 기다리라고만. ㅠ 결국 1:40에 체크인. 메인로드와 거리가 좀 멀고

Worth to visit again
Highly recommended especially if you're a couple or a family. You may fully enjoy ambient atmosphere with nice support from staffs. Only one isn't great was location. The villa located at the entrance of New Bagan, so little far from everything if you don't drive In my case, I rented E-bike so there was no problem.

Beautiful hotel, refreshing pool, and helpful staff. We stayed for 3 nights during the low season and loved this hotel. Great offerings for a low price. AC works well, breakfast and dinner options were good, and just outside of the main drag of New Bagan with more restaurants. We were able to walk to find places to eat after dark. Staff helped us rent ebikes to ride around and patiently showed us how to use them. Loved our stay here!

A perfect stay!
Thank you! We loved the hotel and the town so much that we decided to stay for another 2 nights and it was totally worth it! The hotel service is perfect, so nice and respectful staff. You will feel yourself welcome here! We loved everything: the pool, the room, the breakfast and the staff. They even packed us some breakfast to go as we had to leave early in the morning to catch a flight. We will be back! Thank you :)

The property was more than satisfactory. Great location and very hospitable staff. The only issue was that on the last few days without any notice a renovation began which lasted from early morning hours till late evening very much disrupting any of the guests who where at the property. The wood floors in the lobby and around the pool area were being sanded.

Super boutique hotel.
Villa Bagan exceeded almost all our expectations. The location was brilliant - there were monuments right outside the property, a pool with shade, lovely breakfasts including homemade muslie and yoghurt. Their friendly staff helped us book onward tickets to the next destination and gave us advise on where to have dinner. They are also slight outside the main area of the town which made it lovely and peaceful. The E-bike rental place is 10 steps from reception. Do yourself a favor and hire E-bikes (no license required) both for temple tours as well as for getting the 1-2km into the main area of town at night for dinner. For a great local guide who’s happy to either organize a car or go by e-bike contact Tin Ko via whatapp or by calling - +95 9402787110 . For under 50 USD he was very informative and great value. Especially if there are a few of you. He gave us information and insights into the temples and monuments we would not have had, as well as taking us to his secret places. Pls be aware that internet connectivity in Bagan is generally poor....even our 4G data cards were sporadic. So poor internet connectivity at the hotel is not the hotels fault.

一人旅でも安心、可愛いヴィラです
静かで可愛らしいヴィラです。 とても清潔感があり、スタッフも丁寧で気持ち良く過ごせました。 ヴィラの向かいにＥbikeのレンタルがあるので、自身で動くには不便がなかったのですが、入り口が分かりにくいので道に迷いました。 隣にレストランがありますが私はホテルで食事を取りました。 静かで良い時間が過ごせました。

Un magnifique séjour!
Une magnifique villa, les chambres spacieuses et très confortables. La literie superbe. Le petit déjeuner juste délicieux! La piscine agréable et grande! Rien à dire ( à part qu'il faut juste une peu attendre que la première l'eau sous la douche s'écoule et que l'odeur passe, mais peut-être la chambre n'a pas été occupée juste avant nous). Mais à part cela tout est parfait! Nous avons passé 2 nuits inoubliables!

Wow, what a great hotel to stay at when visiting Bagan. The hotel itself is pristine, the staff were fabulous, and the rooms were well set up and spacious. The only thing that was even slightly negative, is that the beds might be a bit on the firm side for some people. The cool temperature swimming pool was heaven after a day of exploring old Bagan in temperatures that exceeded 100 degrees. We would highly recommend this hotel for anybody visiting this area.

Probably one of the most beautiful settings I’ve stayed at. The temples almost in the backyard are stunning. The staff is wonderful, smiling and helpful. Beautiful people and a beautiful place. I highly recommend Villa Bagan.

Das Personal war von Ankunft bis Abfahrt durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das inkludierte Frühstück war immer lecker und bot eine große Auswahl. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und gepflegt. Für uns war es ein wenig hellhörig und ließ sich nicht ganz verdunkeln.

Nice place with view on ancient ruins
Nice place, in a good environment. Nice staff, rather helpful. Try to ask for rooms on the pool... avoid 107-108, 207-208... no view at all... cool pool after a day of visits

Little gem in New Bagan
Beautiful boutique hotel with lots of attention to detail. The rooms are nicely decorated and so is the rest of the hotel. The breakfast has a good selection. I especially enjoyed the pool during those hot and dusty days in Bagan. The hotel also rents out the e-scooters and you are close to some of the beautiful sunrise and sunset sites. I ate 2 times in the restaurant, it was OK but I would say there are better places for food. Overall, amazing stay, great value for money and I would certainly come back!

Hôtel idéal pour visiter les monuments
Nouvel hôtel d’une taille très raisonnable et super bien situé (devant une pagode). Un vrai havre de paix après les visites d’autant plus qu’il y a une petite piscine très propre et agréablement fraîche avec des transat et parasol Nous avons dîner à chaque fois dans cet hôtel car le prix et qualité sont excellents La seule note négative a été que nous avons du payer un verre à bière au prix de usd 3.— qui a été cassé par mégarde lors du repas Mais c’est la seule critique que je peux apporter.

Excellent !
Magnifique hôtel, décoration moderne épurée mais néanmoins local, tout en teck. Chambre spacieuse et très propre, donnant directement sur la piscine. Cadre très verdoyant, piscine fraîche mais très agréable avec vue sur des soupas. Possibilité de louer ses scooter à deux pas en face ou directement par l’hotel. Nombreux restaurant aux alentours (10 minutes à pied). Emplacement idéal, à proximité immédiate des temples. Très bonne adresse incontournable si vous aimez les hôtels de petite taille.

Everything was good except the food ordered for dinner was really very slow. Next day, we went to town (1 km away) to have dinner. Plenty of restaurants and choices.

極推薦這間酒店，員工服務態度良好，很樂於助人！房間整潔舒適，露台看到泳池及塔，酒店環境很綠化，到處看到花樹，早餐味道不錯，天台可看到日出及熱氣球，晚上天台可看星星！酒台旁有一間餐廳，有歌舞音樂表演！唯獨沖涼水壓及熱水不足！但房間聽著雀聲睡覺真的很舒服！很掛念這間酒店，下次有機會來蒲甘會再住

Little piece of paradise in Bagan
What a lovely hotel! Gorgeous rooms and grounds, delicious breakfast, wonderful staff. A short walk into town and an e-bike (like a scooter) rental across the lane. I only wish I had booked more nights - would definitely return and reccomend! So much more intimate than the larger, resort-style hotels.
