Bel hôtel , piscine agréable

Hôtel très agréable, chambre très spacieuse vue sur la rivière mais un peu bruyante ( bateaux et travaux). Piscine très plaisante dans la verdure . Restaurant très bon mais petit déjeuner moyen ( qualité du pain et des jus de fruits )

Super location , Lovely property.. Recommended.

We loved our stay at the hotel , location is the one of the best available in Bagan , with sunset , sunrise points near by , river side view & one of the most beautiful sunset views. Rooms were spacious & staff super courteous and helpful , breakfast spread was nice and dinners were also good, had a nice surprise on our anniversary from hotel staff, THANKS. Only opt for river view or lawn facing rooms . Pool side rooms are in need of renovation and do not have much of a view , do not recommend these rooms , these are not at all value for money. I would recommend this property for experiential travel.

Excellent location and setting

Our overall stay was great. We were there for two days. There were a few issues in the room which were taken care of promptly. The location of the hotel was superb with respect to the sites, Nyang-u and New Bagan.

Suppose we spend the Honey Moon in Aye Yar River View Resort, but it is really bad experience for the staff and view from room. 1) we booked a river view room and expect a beautiful river view. However they assigned us a lower floor room with very limited river view. Also there is construction work nearby and block the river view and creating noise! 2) I have sent message to hotel saying this is my honey moon trip and ask for help for honey moon setting in the room. However they didnt prepare anything in the room! 3) while we want to book a night coach JJ express back to Yangon. But the reception staff keep force us to book another coach from a local company. While we ask her where we can book the JJ exp, she just keep saying she do not have such information. And ask us to go to tourist center in the downtown to get the info! I have never see a hotel reception like this. JJ exp is the biggest coach company in Myanmar! 4) I also order a Birthday cake from the hotel for my wife. When we go back to the room, we found the cake, but with some used candle...used candle!!! How can a room service be like that? I really cannot believe! 5) next day we went out to see the Bagan famous sunrise at very early morning and come back at about 8am and would like to take some rest. However the hotel is playing very loud music in the garden which is very annoying!! It was 8 am in the morning! I am very disappointed for all these and would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

The resort is in old bagan and as a result is a bit isolated from restaurant or shopping options, but is in the thick of a concentration of the old temples and monesteries. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, especially ms lia lia. The booked transportation for us, and was overall incredibly helpful. The pool, and gardens were very calming and "cooling" even though the temperature was in the 90's (feels like 102). restaurant was good, huge breakfast spread.

Atmospheric hotel!

I had the temple view and it was one of the most atmospheric hotels I have ever stayed at (after 72 countries)... If you are passionate about culture and history staying in Old Bagan at this hotel is a perfect choice...it’s location feels authentic vs touristy. (Only exception is Chinese breakfast...but like Chinese food so all was good for me)... The staff were kind in character but not overly helpful - but think it was more a language and cultural barriers as main issue.

El hotel es de tipo resort, con edificios de habitaciones entre abundante vegetación alrededor de una piscina central. El diseño es agradable, si bien las habitaciones están un poco anticuadas. La ubicación es muy buena, al lado del río desde el que ver puestas de sol, en medio de Old Bagan, desde donde se pueden alquilar por poco precio bicis eléctricas (“e-bike”) para recorrer los miles de pagodas que hay por la zona. La comida del hotel es buena y barata, punto importante porque no hay muchos restaurantes en la zona y los que hay son poco occidentales respecto a la comida y estilo/limpieza. El personal fue atento y agradable. Fuimos en temporada baja, había poca gente y aprovechaban para hacer una ampliación al hotel, aunque las obras no fueron molestas.
