Very disappointing.
The whole place needs a refurb, it's very dated. There was an awful smell through the corridor. Cobwebs all over the apartment, damp in the bathroom. Flooring lifting in places. Loud music playing till the early hours, unsure of this was from downstairs or the pub across the road. One of the beds was very precarious, wheels may have been broken.

Stay was awful police incident right outside window which left both my self and my husband who as a disability very frightened abd feeling vulnerable to tge point we never slept woukd never stay there again

So bad, did not stay here
We did not stay here, we checked in, then on seeing the room we immediately demanded a refund...room was not in our view habitable, in very poor state of repair, unclean, not even worth the room price...reception staff were helpful and gave refund straight away

Room had the standard features except for the sash windows would not stay open, this in a heat wave made the room fairly uncomfortable.

Disgusting!!
I am very surprised the local council environmental health dept can let these people have such bad conditions. Would'nt recommend at all. Definetly would not stay there again.

Steer clear
We rejected the first room there was hair on the bed, floor and in the shower room. There were used wipes stuffed on top of the radiator. Dust and dirt all round the room. Rubbish on the toilet floor. We were given a smaller 2nd room the beds and room were acceptable the bathroom was moldy and smelly. The walkways are grotty and the carpets are filthy. Despite saying no smoking it smells strongly of cigars.

Ebbers - The Tudor house hotel
Family stay in a very basic room which overlooks a very busy road with lots of traffic throughout the night. and while we were there the pub opposite the hotel played very loud music outside till after half past midnight. the other nights lots of people shouting and talking loudly outside the pub we were only there to sleep what little we managed during our stay as we were out early and back late when we got back late there was never enough room to park outside hotel parking area so had to park behind the pub in the parking bays there.

Absolutely horrible
It wasn’t very nice inside, I felt it was over priced for what it was. I could of paid the same price and stayed in a nicer hotel in town. The staff are nice it’s just a pity about the hotel. It was on par to hostel but over priced!! Seriously Stay away !

Needs improvement
Stay ok, rooms are big with kitchen but disappointed no.1 window blind are broken/hanging into pieces. no.2 the window is broken, need a piece of wood to support to keep it open. No.3 only 1 bin for 2 bedrooms, kitchen and toilet. No.4 bath/shower no curtain

Tatty but cheap
You get what you pay for. Pluses - very cheap, comfy bed with clean linen and a clean bathroom, TV. Minuses - very tatty, very old carpets, blinds barely kept the sun out - and one window had nothing covering it at all. No extras (towels, fan, aircon etc). But if you just want a cheap bed for the night, which we did, no complaints.

True account of my stay
It is was not good altogether. Some of the facilities were lacking. The state of the room was a shabby to say the least . The bed kept moving. It was quite hot in there. The floor was a bit creaky. Not enough towels in the bathroom.

Comfortable and a pleasant stay!
We stayed here for four nights. The staffs are friendly and helpful. We appreciate the 24 hours front desk service in this hotel. The hotel is in a very good and convenient location: plenty and different type of restaurants to choice from, nearby supermarket and easy access to public transport system.

Cheap in every way, but sufficient
The room was inexpensive and sufficient for an overnight stay. Some improvements have been made since other reviews, with new doors and some room fittings updated. The general condition of the room was average though and a slight smell of stale smoke meant we did not wish to hang around. That said it sufficed and the presumably the owners reflect the shortcomings in the low cost we paid.

one of the the worst hotels in the UK
Absolutely awful - the worst hotel in the UK I've ever stayed in. Room was falling to bits - couldn't shut the bathroom window. Holes in the walls and ceiling. Door lock didn't work. No bath towels. TV volume control not working. Staff not interested. I work all over nationally and internationally, staying away 200+ days/year but have never seen anything as bad as this in the UK. HOTELS.COM NEED TO REMOVE THIS PROPERTY FROM THEIR SITE.

Swing and a miss
The staff, especially night manager, was great. Very cheerful and super helpful. For the price I shouldn't be surprised, but the rooms were in disrepair and lacked a good cleaning. They look nothing like the photos displayed. With some elbow grease this place has a lot of potential.

Nice Hotel
I always like to stay in Ebers Hotel each time that Im in Nottingham. The hotel is cool, comfortable and located near to good restaurants and grocery shops. But above all, the hotel personnel are very helpful. This is most important, of all.

We arrived with our room having to be changed due to a broken lock. Receptionist was great and sorted us out another room finally but when we got in there the single bed frame was broken which they said they would fix but never do don the 1st night so I had to sleep on the floor. The shower had no temperature gauge so it was scolding hot They did fix the frame by the 2nd night but I daren’t move as it was still dodgy What we paid was great value for 2 nights but now I see why it was so cheap

Get what you pay for
One night stay for night out in Nottingham . If your not fussy about where you lay your head for a short while , this is just the job. Cheap and no frills , I mean no frills. In need of a major makeover and some rooms have been done. Its certainly not the Ritz but it did the job for the money we paid .

Ebers Hotel is in a very convenient location for Nottingham City Centre. Theres food very close by. The room was clean. I have stayed 2 nights on my first visit, 1 night on my second visit. I plan to stay again.
