"I love staying in his hotel. Well priced, lovely staff, one of my my favourite buffet breakfasts (and I travel and stay in hotels a lot with work) and the new refurbishment of the bar and restaurant is great. I’ve eaten in the hotel restaurant a couple of times in the evening and the food was delicious with some quite fancy dishes. I do think the bathrooms in the rooms could do with a facelift but for this price point, this is a great hotel. Will certainly stay again."

"I booked this hotel for my Mum and I as it's conveniently located a 5 minute walk from The Theatre Royal where we were attending a show. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and we had a tasty breakfast included in our price. On checkout at 11am staff allowed us to keep the parking space until 2pm which was very much appreciated! Overall, excellent location for the theatre and restaurants nearby. We would recommend and return, especially for an overnight theatre stay."

"Great location that feels rural while being next to everything. It’s a very large hotel so a long trek from the car park to reception and then to my room. I ate in the bar and the food was very good as was breakfast the next morning."

"Rooms are spacious. We stayed in a heat wave (2 nights)- we took a fan from home; it was needed as room was very warm and due to size of the room, the one fan supplied wasn't enough. Cooler in open space areas outside! We've stayed before so knew to take an extension lead with us as only plugs one side of the bed and two of us needed to charge watches & phones overnight. Didn't have breakfast this time as wasn't needed but have before and it was good then. Shower was effective and towels were replaced. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were also replenished. I'd stay again, hotel can't control the heat wave so it was on us to do what we could with curtains shut etc.. we made it work with bringing the extra fan so as not to trouble the hotel staff as can imagine fans were all distributed anyway!"

"Fatima on reception was amazing. I’d forgotten my charger and she gave me one. Very helpful with ice, water as it was a very hot day. Fab in room was an added bonus. Breakfast good too hot, plentiful. Only downside is can be seen as a little tired but overall clean and excellent value for money"
