"When I booked this hotel it was an AmericInn, however when I arrived it was changed to a Quality Inn with no prior indication. I did receive calls from Windham but they never left a message to identify the change prior to my check in. The building did not have any address on it to help identify it as the hotel we needed to be at. Otherwise, it was a very clean hotel. The staff did their best with what appeared to be a new system. "My room was as far away as it could get. In spite of asking for ground floor i was on third floor at far end of hall. Bed hurt my back so much i had to sit in a chair to ease it. No wake up call."

"It was nice and we really could have walked to Shepler’s Ferry (11 minutes) to Mackinac Island instead of using the van. It was conveniently located to Joann’s Fudge (best in town), restaurants and sights."
