"Rooms were not very soundproof, we had LOUD neighbors. Breakfast was very basic. Not enough seats to accommodate the guests. The air conditioner in the room was on point! We stayed during the heatwave and our room was very cool! I didn’t like that the ice machine was only on the first floor. We were on the second floor. Had to wait for someone to greet us at the front desk. Overall would stay again if just passing thru."

"I was satisfied with total stay at Super 8 Only one thing that could make it better is breakfast. All carbs no protein. Maybe hard boiled eggs would add to a nicer breakfast."

"The hot tub and pool area were really nice! The breakfast place was perfect and even open longer than the hours stated. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can walk to Putt putt and really good Mexican food.! You can walk to the DNR building and see fish and animals. You can walk to the beach at the campground. It’s right where the two lakes meet! Highly recommend!"

"The staff was friendly and the room was quiet and clean. The air conditioning worked well. The shower pressure wasn't very good. We weren't fans of the religious themes throughout the hotel. The television options were terrible - many hotels are switching to Roku or Amazon TV systems so guests can stream via their own accounts; this would be a major improvement."

"Grand Beach Resort Hotel is about a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Traverse City, so it's in a little calmer location. It has its own private beach with beautiful views of this inlet of Lake Michigan. Towels for the beach are provided and the hotel has rows of beach chairs already on the beach for guests to use. "Summer’s Inn is a small mid-century boutique motel for people 50 and over. The staff is friendly, helpful, and remembers you from year to year. The property is a monarch way station and the patio area has a sizable Koi pond for relaxation and contemplation. Breakfast is from local producers-quiche, fruit, cinnamon bread, and jelly with fresh coffee and juice. One of our annual favorites."
