"Beautiful room and location - this guesthouse only features 1 bedroom (a minute walk away from the host's house) and is quite isolated. Perfect to spend time in silence, reading or meditating. There are a few guesthouses a couple of minutes walk and it is literally 5 minute walk from one of the entrances to the national park. The host is wonderful and is a guide himself, - his wife cooks great meals (recommended the vibe rice option)."

"The road to Rainforest edge is not good - and you can miss it. It's only partly tarmac, and that pitted. It's uphill, winding, and goes through a tea factory. But when you get there... It's like a medieval castle: great boulders below, tiled roofs above, and an infinity pool looking out over the mountains. "Natscha and her assistant Ajit run this wonderful small guesthouse. If you are looking for an authentic, local experience then stay here. But, it is not that easy to get to, The road to the bungalow is largely unpaved and steep but, for us, that was all part of the attraction. The surroundings are beautiful - lush green jungle, beautiful rice paddies, local temples etc. But, if you don't have your own vehicle then it is not possible to get out at night. The cuisine is local and very good....

"Beautiful colonial plantation in quite remote location. Wonderful views, breakfast on the veranda watched by leaping monkeys. Food good quality, very pleasant service. Nice swimming pool with amazing views. Very large attractive rooms. Comfy bed. We would recommend."

"Our room was automatically upgraded to one with A/C. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were great; they were friendly, and accommodated our early morning request for tea and coffee. They also organized great natiralist guides for our walking tours in and around the rainforest. Thank you very much!!!"

"Stay away! It was the worst experience of my whole stay in Sri Lanka. I booked that hotel for 1 night. I noticed that they have a policy for late check in (after 9pm) so on the way I tried to contact them because I was afraid if I will be able to get over there on time. Me and my driver called them several times for hours before my arrival without any result. Finally we got over there about 8:30 pm but there was nobody there and all seemed like closed.
