"Nicer Ryokan for the area. Obvious reason to stay is to visit the Shibu Onsen facilities and the Snow Monkey Park and this is a great option for those activities. Pretty close to the Shiga Kogen resort. Check the Map before booking as it is not in Nagano despite the address. Diner and breakfast with Half board was very good and staff were friendly and helpful. Free shuttles were a bonus."

"I had a wonderful stay at this Japanese hotel! The tatami room was incredibly comfortable, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. The outdoor onsen was fabulous, providing a perfect way to relax after a day of skiing. The breakfast/ dinner included were delicious and truly added to the experience. "Everything about the accommodation was excellent, especially the staff! Despite the communication struggles, they were very helpful and provided great service during my stay. The free shuttle service to the ski resort was also extremely useful as they would drive you to your desired resort and pick you up at your specified time.
