"The room, staff, breakfast and fitness centre. Zswimming pool and sauna were all great but it is the location in the Tatra mountains that makes it unforgetable."
"Gorgeous hotel. Well priced. Central location. Breakfast was great. Huge selection. Highly recommend and if we are visiting Zakopane again would stay here. Right near shopping and restaurants. 5 minutes drive to cable car for Tatra mountains!!"
"I am 74 years old and since I was 18 I have stayed in countless luxury hotels worldwide, Paris, Rome, London, Jerusalem, Warsaw, Edinburgh and Dublin. The Aries in Zakopane, however, was the best hotel I have EVER stayed. I can't wait to go back!"
"The room was clean, with a clear view of the mountains. We stayed on the third floor. We also used the pool, hot tub, and the sauna after our hike to Morskie Oko which was a short 20 min drive away. The staff was excellent and met or exceeded our needs in our 2 night stay. The breakfast was great with a variety of food, and lots of coffee and tea options. Would recommend to a friend or family to stay here."
"Great Location! The hotel is located walking distance from the train station. When you get off the train, it's a short walk straight up the hill. You will need to know this because the locals will probably not want to help you with directions. The lady that greeted us at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! She was accommodating and nice. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a day of hiking. The lady working the spa was unfriendly, but that's to be expected from many of the locals. The rooms were nice but very dated. If you go when the weather is cooler, you will be fine, but it is good to know for the warmer months, there is no air condition in the rooms. If you sleep with the window opened, there are cars and street noise. They did bring us a fan, but when the temperature rises to the 80s... you may want a room with AC. The shower was tiny. My husband took a shower in the locker room at the pool and it had plenty of room. It's a wonderful place to stay, just be aware of the AC situation. Also, The Brooklyn Brewery next door is an excellent place to eat! The food is wonderful and you get huge portions. The staff was also friendly."
"Great area a little bit off the main road to find, modern room, everything inside looks great, but no mention of all the construction going on next to the room amd building. So had to keep blinds down so workers wouldn't see into room."
"Very nice property and well kept. Breakfast was awesome! What a buffet variety with fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses etc… super nice. Zakopane is a really nice town. The main shopping area is super cute. Love the chalet style buildings and houses. Very clean."
"We visited Hotel Bania on a recommendation from a friend and it was utterly sensational.
The hotel is comfortable, with a natural flow and guest journey. There are shared small kitchens on each floor which are so convenient for preparing a snack; it’s a microwave and sink but really useful to have available!
The beds are comfortable, however we found the pillows to be quite soft.
The hotel is quiet with great sleep quality. The water pressure is excellent and a nice shower space.
WiFi is excellent with fast streaming available.
There is currently construction taking place on the new wing at the front of the hotel; but asides from cranes viewable from the pools, it’s a necessary evil for their continued growth and expansion.
Therma Bania is amazing. Swim up bars; various spaces and utterly gorgeous.
It is really hard to get a lounger at weekends and I don’t know how they can manage it, but it’s quite a stressful experience when you just want to find somewhere to leave your stuff so you can get in the pool.
The restaurant food was quality and tasty, however it would be good to see more options for vegans and vegetarians as this was very limited.
The photos don’t do this hotel justice; I nearly booked another hotel in Zakopane as I thought the rooms look dated, they’re not, it’s just bad promotional material!
We will certainly be returning and have already recommended to a number of friends."
