"Beautiful hotel with easy parking in the courtyard for our small campervan. Hotel initially a little difficult to find as it is hidden within tiny streets but we were pleased with the location once we had found it. There are fabulous gardens to walk around next door. Breakfast was delicious and the tall chap in the evening restaurant spoke fantastic English and was really helpful when making arrangements for a late key. I would be happy to stay again. 👍"

"Even though I scheduled my stay weeks in advance, when I arrived, what I had requested and pre-paid for was changed. Even though I was traveling alone, I was told that I was upgraded to a larger room. But this was a very dark basement room with an additional bunk bed. It was so cold and the heat took hours to reach a point when I cold remove my coat. There was not a comfortable chair in the room; just cheap plastic chairs. "Löhnburg is a small town away from most big cities. However, this hotel which has been operated for 190 years by the same family, is amazing. There are many interesting towns around it and it is helpful for people touring the region by bicycle. Every staff member went out of their way to help us. The restaurant is wonderful. It has most of the amenities one would expect to find in a 4.5 to 5 star hotel in a larger city. "
