"decent lodgings, great location"

"The breakfast and dinner were both outstanding. Staff was very accommodating ."

"Excellent property! One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Just off the main street (less than 300m) but still quiet, the Scotsman only has 6 bedrooms so it is very intimate, with a number of smaller lounges that couples can relax in while not disturbing other guests. All of it in a warm, cozy and especially luxurious design style. Morning breakfast is excellent and there is a large back terrace with unique seating areas, again as a measure of privacy. Staff were excellent, very friendly...

"Beautiful room!"

"Room was average at best. Breakfast was terrible. For the price paid, this is terrible value. Only good thing was close to Main Street."

"Great value for the price. Close enough to walk to queen street and enjoy all the restaurants and shopping. Complimentary breakfast was very good."

"Phil was a wonderful host. Breakfast delivered to our room each morning was a really nice touch. Walking distance to the theatre and all the action that Niagara on the Lake has to offer."

"Lovely place"

"The location was great. Walking distance to downtown and across the road from the lake, park and walking trail. It was quiet and staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious!"

"It was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast. Maria the owner was fantastic and answered every question we had. We loved the breakfast and the special touches Maria added tothe service"

"The room was very clean with lots of towels and toiletries. Very easy check-in and check-out process. The beds were good but a bit too hard, but this wouldn't stop us from booking again. The only issue we had was that we could hear every step and sound from the room above. Since this is an older building, it seems that there is not much sound proofing between rooms. It wasn't a major problem, but it could be if you are sensitive to noise when trying to sleep."

"Beautiful maintained home, our host were delightful, so friendly and gave us lots of information on things to do.Her home cooked breakfast were the best, especially her scones. Had a nice little sitting area where you could make coffee and tea, along with the snacks,or sit on the balcony and enjoy a glass of wine. My only negative, which would not be a big deal for some, the beds were very high, and me only being 5 ft 1 and my husband with arthritic knees, had great difficulty getting into the...

"Loved the location and amenities. The host thought of everything a traveler might want."

"A very welcome entrance place. Owners Kecper and Wanda were warmed and absolutely accommodating. We would certainly recommend family & friends to stay in 627 on King Bed & Breakfast"
