We arrived in the evening driving down the A487 to the camping place. The wind was very heavy, so told the kids to stay inside the car and parked the car to be able to pitch up the tents. I must say that the light then was gorgeous. But, it had to wait. So once the tents were up, I catched my camera and tripod and my selfmade weights for the tripod, crossed the street and took several shots. The wind was so heavy, that I had to put at least three heavy stones in my "weight". So please do not zoom in too far ;-) The camping is nice but you need good tents that can cope with the heavy wind as there is little protection from it. People there are very friendly and there is a nice hike starting close by and a little hike a way one of the best icecreams I ever had @ Pointz Castle Ice Cream.
Beachcombing
For me one of the most beautiful spots in Pembrokeshire . Situated between haverfordwest and st davids . The view as you come over the brow of the hill is jaw dropping very easy access to beach cafe pub and campsite literally yards from the sea . Popular with surfers .
