Hi Christopher, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and feedback with us. We are disappointed to read the hotel did not meet your expectations on this occasion and we have shared this with our management team. We will look into the issues you have brought to our attention. We do want to note our staff tried to contact you regarding the restaurant closure and reception hours multiple times, leaving voicemails and an SMS. Due to short staff, we made the difficult decision to close that day. It's an unfortunate part of living with this COVID-19 outbreak. We hope you got out and enjoyed the City of Newcastle.
