"After going next door to hampton an not even checking in due to renovations and not stating that everything was under renovation i walked out. Saw this hotel an glad we stayed they are super professional and friendly even with my pups the breakfast was excellent the pool and hot tub was clean. I will def make this hotel my go to for now on only thing I didnt like was they charge for parking"

"Beautiful historic inn right in downtown Newburyport, very comfortable bed, in room coffee but also lobby coffee and continental (and complimentary) breakfast. The was are a little thin as to be expected with a historic hotel. This did not bother me, but some travelers may want to be aware. Also if booking and mobility is an issue, mention it at the desk as again, it is a historic property. There are a few twists and turns and steps to get to your room. However, I overheard staff offering to carry bags to people on various floors, and staff in general was very generous and helpful."

"Location was good, quiet and peaceful and felt safe. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. I wish there were more cooked healthy options for breakfast in addition to hard boiled eggs and grain bars, and that the hotel had water filters rather than tiny bottled waters. Lots of ticks in this area. Actually, lots of ticks in the whole of the east coast."

"The Hotel is clean and the Ocean Front Balcony King bed room was large and very nice. The staff are friendly and check in and out was efficient. Vallet staff were excellent. My wife and I really like The Ashworth by the Sea The only issue we had was their was no hot water in the shower So for the cost we paid for 1 night it was disappointing to not have hot water for a shower in the morning. We will be back again, bit will check the shower after arrival"
