Couldn’t give a higher review. Large clean room, big bath, comfy bed. Ideal location for exploring Manhattan and great friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone.

The staffs are friendly and professional. However, for a hotel that charges $50 resort fee per night, we were surprised when told that there is no complimentary water available, which caused us much inconvenience as we arrived at the hotel at 11PM on a rainy night. (There is only $10 /bottle of water in the minibar.) While the room is clean, there is absolutely zero soundproofing, so even though we stayed on the 12th floor, the sound of traffic on the street and doors closing in the hallway were as clear as if cars, people, and various machinery are literally within our room.

we went for the pool. the pool was closed when we arrived at 4:00 and was only open in the mornings. that did not work out for our schedule and was totally closed the last day we could have used it. I upgraded room to what I thought was balcony and was not...what they consider balcony is not a balcony.

The Royalton Park Avenue is our go to hotel in NYC. This past week, we splurged a bit and spent two nights in a Park Avenue Suite. Spacious, comfortable and well priced. There was a wedding going on and so the hotel was a quite busy. The result is that Room Service was so tied up that they basically just never called us back when we tried to order brunch, so we had to do take out from Sarabeths instead. That has never happened to us before at the Royalton. I am giving it five stars anyway because we had such a pleasant stay other than that.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. I love the texts I received daily from the staff asking me how my stay was going and if I needed anything. They were very responsive when I needed something. They also upgraded me from a queen bed to a king bed when they found out my sister was staying with me. They gave me a room with a view of the Empire State Building. It’s across the street from a Starbucks and in close proximity to Whole Foods, nice restaurants and shopping. I loved my stay at the Royalton Park Hotel.

Excellent service! Spacious room, great food and entertainment at the Ivy Rooftop, and extended checkout. They even had a steamer that I could use, since my clothes were packed for business travel.

We had booked for 3 adults ( including our visually impaired daughter)..the sofa bed was not prepared or configured prior to our arrival..( Intially the sofabed couldn't be used at all)..housekeeping had to move the sofabed around ( reconfiger the room)..to make it work..After a long flight its the last thing you need. A couple of small observations- the lighting in the lifts need to be better as you have to strain to see the floor buttons A mirror in the room itself would be great. Finally booked a taxi through the hotel..price was agreed to include all taxes to JFK..only to be told by the taxi deiver..taxes were additional to the agreed fare..disappointing. Overall the property was central and walkable to most midtown attractions..good location.
