"Stayed here in February. Check-in was quiet, staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was number 5 and was beautiful with modern equipment. It nice and warm in our room throughout our stay. No need to go out, just get parked and have your evening meal in the pub/restaurant, I can recommend the fish & chips. If you are looking for accommodation in this area, I would definitely recommend Pack Horse. "

"Absolutely sensational. A true hidden gem. Booked this not knowing what to expect but WOW! This place is a work of art. The owners have renovated this lovely building to an exceptional standard. The place feels fit for royalty, and you can definitely see the attention and care to detail the owners have put into this. Room was 10/10 and designed to a very high standard. "Really disappointing experience at Embankment Kitchen. Despite booking a table in advance, we were left waiting far too long. When we arrived, several staff members were clearly present but nobody acknowledged us or even said, “we’ll be with you shortly.” We were simply left standing there wondering what was going on. "We had a suite which was miles from reception up and down stairs plus the signage was poor and confusing. Reception had a care less attitude when I overheard another guest explaining their issue. Equally they didn’t care that someone had been smoking in our room and cigarette ash was on the carpet and the window frame. The bed throw was disgusting and not to be explicit I’ll leave it at that. "I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The bedroom was lovely and very comfortable, and that spa facilities provided the perfect way to relax. The food was excellent and the staff were all lovely and made us feel so welcome. "

"Room was OK (King Suite), neighboured with another room - unfortunately neighbours were far too loud. (We used ears plugs otherwise we'd need to change rooms. Lack of drinking water in the rooms. The room itself was a bit dim with worn furniture. Bathroom lacked ventilation and thus accrued mold on the blinds. Had several disturbances in the night with noise. Poor signal with a small outdated TV. Good large fluffy bath towels, comfortable bed. Nice view from the window. Good breakfast selection....
