"Great location, fantastic staff and great food. The venue has loads of potential but is quite tired and dated in parts, and in need of a good deep clean in some areas and refurbishment. Albeit it was comfy, dry and functional amd served a purpose for our stay. A tired old pub that needs money spent on it in areas. But we loved the food and great staff"

"We had an enjoyable stay overall. The property is in an amazing location, offering a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views. Unfortunately, our arrival was somewhat disappointing. The front desk staff were very abrupt and, on this occasion, came across as rather rude. This was in contrast to the rest of the staff, who were consistently friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. The room itself was comfortable and well presented, although the pillows were too soft for our preference and the mattress could have been of a better quality. The main area that requires attention, however, was the bathroom linen. The towels were extremely worn and threadbare, to the point that one of them actually ripped while I was using it. Replacing the towels would certainly improve the overall guest experience. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay and would still consider returning, as the location, surroundings, and overall atmosphere make it a lovely place to stay.."

Other family members joined us for dinner on Friday night, which we all really enjoyed, with an interesting wine menu and some lovely wines. The staff and hospitality were fantastic. In this old pub, the rooms and accommodation are very well finished and have a modern feel and efficiency. Breakfast was full of locally sourced ingredients and well cooked and presented."
