"After reading reviews, we were skeptical, but Google reviews are more accurate. We had an excellent stay for our ski trip! Room was clean and recently updated with fresh paint and new appliances. My friend and I stayed in the four bed room with a private bathroom and found it clean, organized, and spacious. Big balcony overlooking mountains with lovely table and chairs, large comfy beds, Smart Tv, and nice hot shower. We didnt hear any noise from the street or other rooms and slept soundly. There was storage downstairs for skis and snowboards, which was very convenient The location is perfect with a bakery around the corner, Nebelhorn Cable Car a 5 min walk, and restaurants only a few steps away. The free parking in the back was also a great bonus.
Only minor issue was check-in instructions were not very clear. We had messaged on hotels.com prior to check in for instructions. Its self check in and you must text the number posted outside for key lock code, not through the app, but once we did we got a reply seconds later with info from a very friendly gentleman. Its a great place with a great location with a great price! Will 100% be back when going skiing next time."

"Very clean great service. Only drawback is no air conditioning. (US travelers might be shocked by that)
Vonya, was exceptional in dining portion. Breakfast was included and really good. "

"The staff at this hotel, both Reception and at Breakfast, were excellent. Very friendly and willing to assist when required. This hotel is so well located in the centre of Oberstdorf. You could not ask for better. We had a large bedroom with an excellent shower and toilet facility. Nevertheless, two areas to point out. This hotel does not have a lift and therefore is a problem for less physically able personnel. Although we had a large bedroom with all the usual bits and pieces, the room was in real need of some TLC, especially the carpet which was in a pretty poor condition."
