"Great base to stay in the heart of Chester. This is a very old building so expect sloping floors as it’s part of its history. Stayed twice now, staff are very helpful as will store luggage. The 3pm checking is rigid"

"We just spent one night in Chester to visit the rows which is a reputation of the city. The hotel itself a bit far from downtown which takes about 20 minutes by walk. The room is a bit small with no view. There is no an elevator and the stairs is quite narrow. Pros are good breakfast, free car parking, and big bed. "

"Stayed here on a Thursday overnighter with my hubby, it doesn't look much from outside, but step inside and what a little gem! This place has just 3 rooms, ours was immaculate and I'm sure it was a higher standard than your average pub hotel. The decor was really nice, bed was super comfy, tea & coffee making facilities, and the bathroom was very nice and a decent size with a good electric shower.
