"The property is very nice and great views over the bay. Staff are friendly but do not have any ability to make decisions when a problem is encountered. We had booked, and had confirmed by the property, a room for someone who was totally requiring disability access facilities - and the property emailed and told this was the case but on arrival the room being shown was not fit for someone in a wheelchair. There was no shower rails, no seat and the room was too small to allow anyone in a wheelchair...

"Exceptionally friendly and helpful host. Although the property was on a busy road the bedrooms are all at the back, so noise is not a problem. Very generous breakfast eaten outside when weather permits."

"Stayed 3 nights at Annick House. Felt like our house from the start. Just safe, comfortable and convenient. Great hosts with history to Nelson. Fabulous fresh breakfast.Nick helped us tour, walking routes and taxis. Had great beer at his pub! Little Thai takeaway near his house had fresh dinners at reasonable price. Had our first NZ pie at downtown bakery.. too good. Nelson will be hard to beat."

"LOVELY stay-the proprietors Tim and Janet are wonderful hosts-we were allowed to check in early, shared an informal happy hour and they gave us a lot of local information and happenings. Janet showed a lot of personal touches to the room and it was great to have our own patio. HIGHLY recommend!"

"The office staff were very helpful and improved my stay. On the other hand the studio room I stayed in seemed slightly dated and the kitchenette, with no sink, left a lot to be desired."
