"Fred the host was brilliant, extremely helpful, guest house was very clean and was kept in great condition. Breakfast was great plenty of choice and freshly cooked. Met some interesting people there over breakfast which is always nice. Will stay again when I come up to visit our grandchildren ."

Gordon, our host, was excellent - cooked a great breakfast, was attentive to every need and request, and offered up great suggestions for things to do. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
I can't remember if there were smaller rooms but as a single occupant my for what I paid the room was definitely worth it, great value.
It's about a 20 or so min walk from Kilmarnock station so not far from town centre. The area around the hotel is a small stadium and mainly residential.
Only bit of constructive feedack I would give is the nespresso coffee machine in my room while there is a manual in the drawer maybe...
