"The electronic check in is overly complicated and intrusive. We had to provide scanned copies of passports and then do a video call to verify our identity. It is not just a matter of scanning the QR code which was sent to us. Don't use the restaurant downstairs. It is ridiculously expensive for what you get. The Caesar Salad needs to be renamed to "bowl of lettuce with some dressing and cheese" to reflect the actual content. No bacon, no egg, 5 croutons."

"We have stayed at many hotels on this trip, modern and riokans and this was by far our favorite. Beautiful setting, our room was gorgeous, the dinner and breakfast were incredible. Our in room onsen was amazing, they also have great beauty products to use"
