The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and spacious enough for the two of us. We used the pool since the ocean was quite rough that day and it was lovely: clean and cool with quiet space to relax. Breakfast buffet was very good as well with a lot of variety. The proprietor let us check in early since our room was ready which was very nice of her. The location was a 10 minute walk to the tourist/beach area. While it was lovely that they have parking (not sure what, if anything, would have happened if we left our rental car on the street all night as the street was quiet and just off a busy one), it is a VERY tight lot if you have a larger or longer car so beware. Otherwise highly recommended!

The staff is wonderful, and place is very clean, however the rooms are small, furniture is old and with the room being all tile it can be cold. We had a wonderful stay at Villamar Resort! The room was spotless and the resort offered great value for money. The front desk staff were incredibly courteous and made us feel so welcome at check-in — knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, and the breakfast was simple but cute and just right to start the day. Highly recommend!
