"I only stayed for a day but it was a stay to remember. The check in time was later than I’m used to but you have your own parking spot reserved with your room, you walk though a beautiful garden to get to the room, we reserved the storyteller suite, so our view faces the setting sun which was gorgeous.

"The La Fonda is a beautiful old hotel. Paying for parking in the rear was so worth it. We came and left frequently, going to historical sites and Taos Pueblo. We were able to sample some local cuisine in the hotel restaurant and the owner was very informative, telling us about the history of his people and the foods they prepare(d). "This was such a special place to stay. We were in Louise and our view was an uninterrupted vista of the desert and mountains with nothing in our way for miles and miles. The trailer was super clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Also, very dog-friendly. I wish we could have extended our visit for an extra few days!"
