"Excellent hotel from start to finish! The door access was a little tricky, but easily overlooked with all of the other GREAT offerings, including breakfast! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone else traveling to Reykjavik for convenience and comfort. "

"Was a great hotel. Pretty close to everything. Staff has helpful maps for street parking if you have a car. Breakfast was very good, and probably saves you a lot of $$ eating at the hotel. Elevator was broken on our way out, but we were able to carry our bags down the stairs."

The bed is comfortable, Wifi reliable, good water pressure, plenty of hot water, easy check-in, great communication with the host. I enthusiastically recommend this apartment when in Reykjavik."

"My father and I just had a recent stay at Hotel Borg for three nights. We were very upset with the service from the housekeeping staffs looking after our room. When we first arrived to our room, we found out that our welcome fruit basket was empty. That was not what we expected to see at a (5-star?) luxury hotel (as stated on the hotel’s own website). We called and asked about that and the staff came to our room with some fruits in the plastic bags and handed that to us. On the next day after...

"Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff. We had a king room which was a little smaller (only compared to rooms in the US) but was perfect for resting between the busy days. Rainbow road is just around the corner and the big sites are all within walking distance. Bus stop 6 is a 3 minute walk away and made getting to and from the airport and day trips super easy. Would stay here again! "
