Old property. Good location. 75 year owners sold hotel recently and it will close this month so there was no incentive to make Guests happy.

The whole experience was excellent. The resort was clean, those who worked there friendly, and beach was beautiful. I didn’t like the small crowded pool. People would get there early and claim too many spots so we never were able to use the pool. Thankfully the Gulf is right there and nice to swim in

The place was understaffed no Bellman no amenities the room was from 1970 the hallways were dirty it’s a joke that they got away with charging $850 a night.

It’s an older property and the public areas need to be cleaned better. The restaurant was fully booked the 3 nights we were there. It seems like the public can book reservations and leaves the guests to have to have to go off property to find a place to eat. The pool is small and you have to get up really early to get a beach chair and umbrella. The beach and ocean were great. Valet was great. I would probably tell others to research other properties first before booking this one.

Nice beach and the bar by the beach are the best part of the hotel, other than that is a very old hotel with poor maintenance, needs a huge upgrade in rooms and common areas.

Loved that everything on the property was so accessible. We had a gulf view that was beautiful to wake up to each morning. Our bed squeaked alot! Everytime you rolled over it was comical to how loud it was. The bathrooms need updating and there is no tub! The showers smelled super salty and toilet seats need replaced. The fridge was very nice to have as we traveled with two toddlers.

Stay elsewhere, not really worth it.

For the amount of money that you pay at this resort stay elsewhere. Nobody is attentive. When I asked to extend my stay the first night, the male(who was a manager) at front desk told me my room was not available for 2 days. The next day when I went to go ask again my room was magically avalable. Hotel is outdated. Mildew in the shower tiles. Servers at breakfast disappear and are not attentive, the food is okay, but honestly food is better at other restaurants.

We entered the room on a Sunday evening after a long day of traveling. The room was not as expected. The feel and theme of the resort is “Classic Florida” or “traditional Florida” which I now have to come realize means “we haven’t decorated or changed anything in the rooms since 1986.” Not what we were expecting, especially for the price.

Property is lovely. When we arrived front desk staff was very accommodating with room change to ocean view at no additional charge. Staff is very friendly and the resort is very clean. Food was excellent!

Hotel muito recomendável

Estadia muito boa, quarto tamanho bom, camas confortáveis, uma pequena sacada com vista para o mar, banheiro bem antigo mas limpo sem deixar a desejar, piscina aquecida (extremamente necessário na região), jacuzzi, boa praia principalmente para crianças com acesso pé na areia da área da piscina, por do sol (sunset) maravilhoso, atendentes muito educados. O hotel é antigo, mas está super bem cuidado, valendo e muito uma visita lá. Únicos pontos negativos: comida no geral muito cara e não tão boa, piscina fecha assim que desce o sol (penso que quem está de férias merece um pouco mais de flexibilidade), cadeiras pagas na praia mesmo tendo taxa de Resort, o valor da diária q é um tanto quanto excessivo. Mesmo assim temos boa impressão do hotel e o recomendaríamos. Mas acredito que precisam rever esses pontos negativos para aprimorar a excelente localização e atendimento do local.

While the price was a bit high for the level of the room accommodations, the facility and private beach access were excellent overall. The hotel charges extra to use chairs and cabanas and everything else, which with the cost of the room was irritating. We really enjoyed the breakfasts at the on-site restaurant, but dinner left something to be desired when compared to options.

Friendly staff, comfy beds, clean, spacious, love the vanity area. The hotel is very pretty. Beach front, white sand, and the pool area are beautiful. We really enjoyed the sunset.

Location was great and staff was very pleasant. But hotel is dated and needs a makeover. Didn’t like that the pool and jacuzzi closed at 6 and also didn’t like the store closing at 3. Initially they had us in a room where the A/C or the hot water didn’t work but quickly moved us to a new room.

Beautiful sunsets. Clean room with great view. Beach is very clean as are pools. Love this place.
