Excellent Family reunion location. The ambience and location was superb not too mention the staff cleanliness of room and entire hotel. Amid the Covid situation felt extremely comfortable as hotel and staff are adhering to new standards and make sure they are being enforced.

We had a wonderful stay here end of July 2020. Accomodations were spacious and very clean. Staff is friendly and knowledgable about area. Restaurants on site were fabulous. We wouldnt hesitate to stay here again!!!

I've been in many places in the world. The hotel is great but I think is overpriced. But still a great and beautifull hotel. The beach is just unreal...staff is average.

Loved the location. Stayed in the suite on the fifth floor; which felt as if you are on the first floor. Room was spacious and had a small backyard; perfect to sit as we had our breakfast and dinner. Full kitchen and next to the pool. Service and staff friendly and attentive.

The property is beautiful, however, not much life as compared to JW Marriot next door. I liked the suite layout as it gave my wife and I a bit more room as well as facilities to make snacks etc. in the kitchenette. The one disturbing experience was with a beach bar employee. When I addressed it with the general manager, it wasn't dealt with to my satisfaction. Nice place but I'll be sure to go back to JW next time.

I noticed at the end of my trip that I was starting to feel off as I was coughing & sneezing a lot. I saw the filter in the room and it was disgusting, it was clogged up & filled with all sorts of dust particles, hair, etc... The filter also said it was las changed in 3/13/20!!! It’s August! Also with everything going on with Covid this is unhealthy & unacceptable. I would like a refund now as my health is at risk & I now will have to go get checked out.

Marco Beach Ocean Resort is definitely the best on the island. I was amazed at the friendliness, professionalism and attentiveness to detail of every single staff member. There were some unfriendly folks checking in, and the way front desk handled their demanding attitude blew me away. Room service is twice a day, and truly leave your suit sparkling. The quickness of bell man, in-room dining and assistance made this trip spectacular. I loved how easy and comfortable towel service was at the pool and ocean. They truly take care of you! Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay somewhere relaxing and quiet. Look nowhere else, this is your spot. What I loved the most was our experience at Sale e Pepe Italian fine dining. Due to COVID, they are closed down for a couple months, but we got in on the last day. The ravioli and tuna tartare were mouth-watering. I loved every minute of our stay. It was paradise amidst all of the chaos that is going on. Already planning our next trip to this part of the world. It was more than I expected, and that is all thanks to Marco Beach Ocean Resort.

Just not a great place for kids. Too small of a pool, not many dining options. Our view from the balcony was of the pool. Had to walk a long way to the beach through a parking garage. Overall just kind of a boring atmosphere.

This is our 2nd year here and we loved it just as much if not more than our last time. The staff are very friendly, the maid service is one of the best, and the beach attendants and wait staff are amazing. And all the rooms are suites with a kitchen. We can’t wait to come back!

There were roaches in our bathroom. Crawling on the walls, in the shower and on the sink. We had to shake out the towels before we used them. Left the light on to tr to keep them at bay. Roaches were also crawling on the kitchenette counter. Of course we alerted management and they sent a very nice gentleman with a can of household bug spray as if roaches choose only one location. Spray had no effect!

Do it all over again for sure!!

One of the best resorts we have ever stayed at, the employees went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The distance to the beach here is much closer than most of the resorts on the beach so was easily accessible. Spa was great! Food was excellent.

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Also easy to walk to local restaurants and shopping. The only thing we didn’t like very much was that there were parts of the hotel that felt a little old or dated. It was clear the facility could use some updates (worn out carpet in some areas, elevator was old and noisy, doors that were worn or dinged up, etc. None of that was a problem really, but it was something we noticed. The only actual problem we found was that the AC in our room smelled musty. On closer inspection we noticed the air filter for our rooms AC was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been changed in a very long time. We just turned off the AC and kept our balcony door open as it was very nice out. Leaving on a positive note though, the beach, pool area, and multiple bars were fabulous, and the staff was THE BEST. We’d certainly consider staying again, but I do hope they make some facility updates.
