"We stayed twice at the property. The first night was fine, so we expected the same for a return night. The staff were pleasant but they didn’t respond to the house phone when it was after hours when we called to report that the room (“lodge”) the second night smelled of cigarette smoke, and was next to a very noisy neighbor. Fortunately a non-staff family member happened to come by and fetched the same lovely reception person. She switched us back to the room we had previously. Although it now smelled of pesticide, that was preferable to the cigarette smell, so we settled for it."

"A late night requirement to stay in Atherton to then find out the towns accommodation was booked out found the Blue Summit Hideaway in Yungaburra, i know where we will be staying now when we travel to the tablelands. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, lovely quiet position and a comfy bed, very happy with our stay at Blue Summit Hideaway."

"The room was not cleaned. The bathroom had stuff all up the walls. It was yuck. When you showered the bathroom flooded. There was water everwhere. Then when unpacking the car at the door there was grass and dirt everywhere. I ducted the mat and you still had everything go inside so the floor was dirty. We could not keep the stuff out."

"Bugs in the sink. Old. Run down. Not at all like the photos. Smelly. Didn’t feel safe staying there. Mold on the shower curtain. Breakfast wasn’t offered until 10:20am. Didn’t feel comfortable to accept the food/drinks. Don’t stay the duration of the booking it was that bad. "

"Property called “Canopy Treehouses”. My booking stated “Deluxe Cabin” but upon arrival found we had been allocated a caravan that had an “eco toilet” (hole in the ground) that you couldn’t flush. I expected a treehouse in the trees. This was a birthday present for my Husband so was disappointed & thought it very expensive for what we got. Not recommended."
