"This is the best hotel we have ever been to. It is designed, built, and operated by the owner JC Espinoza, an accomplished architect for his clients. The view is simply phenomenal overlooking volcano Masaya which had a minor eruption on Dec 22, 2024. The hotel also overlooks lake Masaya, an old volcano crater. "It is a great economic option. The staff give tips and travel advice. I was able to see different parts of Nicaragua and then return to Managua. Go straight to the Nicaragua Guesthouse and use Indrive or a similar service to get there. It is an excellent place for solo travellers, couples, or small families."

Oscar was extremely kind and helpful, giving us all the information we needed about getting around, arranging a taxi to the city centre, and making sure we safely got to the airport with the same driver for our very early 5 a.m. flight.
