Opened up the room, toilet was plugged upon entry and wouldn’t drain. Spoke to guest services who handed me a plunger. Not impressed

They are trying their best to create a glowing environment for the guests. Location. Age and surrounding neighborhood are no help either is the highway next door. If I could have afforded better I would have chosen different Ng and was acceptable

I like that they called to confirm our reservation. Also the staff at the front desk (a lovely woman) was super friendly and helpful when we checked in late in the evening on August 28 after missing our ferry back to Vancouver. This place is a great option for a quick, clean and inexpensive stop and I would happily plan to stay here again for my next Nanaimo visit.

Betten waren Ok. Das Hotel ist durch die Straße sehr laut. Wertsachen würde ich hier nicht im Zimmer lassen, da die Türverriegelung sehr einfach gehalten ist. Für uns hat sie ihren Zweck erfüllt.

Refused to acknowledge my Expedia payment. Manager was aggressive when i asked for an explanation. He then told me to "lick the floor" twice, including in front of another manager who did nothing. No follow up by owner. Not an accommodation Expedia should be associated with.

Very clean room. Large screen tv. The wood floors was a nice change as you know it is clean. Quiet even though it in next to the highway. Newer bathroom fixtures and a large walk in shower. The flowers along the front make it a lovely stay.

Mediocre Motel
Although the staff was friendly, housekeeping was not consistent. I had to ask the night before to have the room cleaned and one day housekeeping was not available. They told me I had to change my own sheets. I also asked for new towels but never received any. Office was only open at certain times. They also charged me for an extra day.

I needed a hotel close enough to the nanaimo airport so that a cab wouldn't be too costly. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and upgrades of the room. My only complaint was the lack of locks on the very large window. Being on the ground floor i was a little concerned with the possibility of someone entering the room by way of the window. There was a small clamp i was able to screw onto the casing to prevent the window from being opened. All in all, decent stay!
