"The best part of this hotel was the location,balcony & oceanfront view. Property is older , moldy spots on chairs in the balcony,door sticky..not very inviting..but had an excellent ocean view from inside the room. Staff were great,very courteous,helpful,efficient.breakfast was good & clean. Was convenient to drive to cape hatteras national Sea shore."

" You could not seen the because of the shape of the one-story motel, but the beach is maybe 300 feet from the backside of the motel. The swimming pool was warm, and pleasant to float in. The parking is first come, first serve, and I felt save at the motel. I would recommend Dolphin Oceanfront Inn to anyone looking for a quiet beach setting."

"My 1st review was removed and the property telephoned me on my private cell phone to basically "tell me off" - contravening the privacy policy of Expedia. The property itself was fine. "Pleasantly surprised by how nice the property was maintained. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was a tad high, but I was able to get on it and it was comfortable. We were able to walk across the street for dinner and shopping. We will definitely return."

"Early and easy check in. Bed is what you expect for a cheaper property. Not high quality but good for a night or two. Only reason not 5 star is the older man in a red polo who worked there walking around and staring down guest. Spoke with another person staying and we were making jokes he was staring us down as we had our morning cigarette outside."
