"Wonderful area, loved our room with nice bath soaps and products. The common area was convenient as well, and the beds were supper comfy, out into had a porch with lovely views as well. Check in was a little confusing but it is a new facility so be aware of that and they are still building it and creating their process, will stay again! "
"The guesthouse was located in a beautiful countryside area just a couple of miles off the main road from Myvatn. The staff was friendly, and we liked that they had postcards, stamps, and some locally made Icelandic wool sweaters for purchase. Our room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated its private bathroom. We visited the restaurant for some evening wine to relax after a day of travel, and the breakfast was tasty and convenient before we headed out to continue our adventure."

"This is such a beautiful hotel perched high on the hills with a fantastic view of Mývatn lake below. The hotel is exquisite and luxurious. The rooms were comfy and spacious. There is a restaurant and good selections for a paid breakfast. It's close to the attractions. Get there early as parking is limited."
"Die Hütte ist süß. Ca 10 m vor der Hütte sind warmes und kaltes Wasser - das ist super, nur etwas kompliziert bei Wind;-))
Man sollte wissen: Die Gemeinschaftsküche sowie Bad/Toiletten sind ca 100 m entfernt.
Und man sollte lieber vorher woanders Lebensmittel kaufen, da es in der Nähe nur einen sehr teuren „Krambudin“ gibt."
