"This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. "It is difficult to fault Kilkea Castle as every aspect of the property impressed. The little things therefore matter and small faults in maintenance, which should be dealt with in a luxury property, tend to stand out more. However, that is digging into the fine detail. So, first impressions carried through from first stepping inside with a warm welcome, the engaging housekeeping staff and superbly professional dining/breakfast room staff. On site activities are a nice touch and worth looking at....
