"Where we stayed at the Oasis Camp was lovely. Clearly it was a newer addition to the Barcelo Resort and it was beautifully appointed and quiet. At night they would light a fire in the center of all the "tents" which made for a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, the rest of the Barcelo resort has gone somewhat to seed. It was clearly in it's heyday 20 years ago or so and not much has been done to improve on it since. There were multiple amenities (volleyball, tennis, lake) that weren't well...

Un havre de paix vert et doté d'une piscine où il est délicieux de se rafraîchir après les ballades et les visites en sirotant un jus de citron à la menthe. "The staff at the hotel are so friendly, especially Abdul & Hassan. The host Sobha was very friendly and made a point of meeting us. We arranged return transfers from the airport through Sobha and this was very easy once we arrived. We also arranged a trip through Sobha and we had comfortable transfers and friendly drivers!"

"There’s no doubt this is a stunning property. We stayed in a delux villa which was also beautifully furnished. Being Relais & Chateâux we expected service to be of very high standard which it certainly was not. There’s clearly a lack of leadership and proper training."
