"Wonderful hotel with a beautiful pool and free Mexican breakfast. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay when in Merida. Only thing that wasn’t perfect was that tv was all Spanish and since it wasn’t a smart tv, had to watch news on iPad. Not a big deal as it was an amazing price for such a nice place."

"We checked out after one hour of checking in at 930pm and walked down the street with large baggage in tow and stayed at a different place. Fixing the crappy accommodations (literally crappy--it's smell) on a Friday night after travel was not feasible. I consider the money a total loss. There are perfectly fine hotels in the neighborhood. Either Expedia or Hotel Caribe or both use photos on the Expedia website that woefully misrepresent what you are purchasing. Expedia should refund the total amount or do better research for the product they peddle. More than 15 years using Expedia, never a bad review. Expedia dropped the ball on this one using poor advertising."

"It's located in the historic center of the city, very close to the "plaza grande", major markets, and museums. Also is well conected through the Va y Ven public transportartion system to the north of the city, airport, and Tren Maya stations."
