There is nothing to say as the booking was cancelled without our knowledge. Not much was done to compensate. We were given alternative location and that hotel was absolutely rubbish. Wasn’t even offered a refund of taxi fare from the first hotel. Had to checkout of the hotel after one night. Had a very bad experience after having travelled a long way. The hotel was.
Arrived about 6.30pm to be told OYO had cancelled our booking because we did not reply to a text they sent that afternoon, mmmm we were 26,000 feet in the air and last time I checked mobiles are to be turned off while flying! Not happy. After about an hour we had to re book our room, downloaded their app and booked direct. To be fair they did give us a coffee and water while sorting. Got to the room and there were a couple cockroaches, also the bathroom need a good Spring clean. Didn’t feel comfy sleeping in bed as previous report mention bed bugs. WiFi kept cutting off and you can only have 2 devices to one room, not good when trying to plan your travelling. Loved Mumbai though, loads to see and getting about by train and metro (although still under construction so limited line) was an adventure. But will not be using OYO again.
