"This was a solid hotel on our way to Isle of Skye. The construction outside wasn't known until after the booking. And while not horrible, they started moving equipment about 45 min before 8am when the work was to start. We knew it would be rustic and it was. No frills but solid hotel. Beds were very hard though."

"We stayed in the pods. It is not loch view. They are in a garden. So there is no view other than the pods. The bathroom are so small so you have to remember to take the loo roll out before you shower because they will get wet. Dinner was ok. And staff were good :)"

The staff were super attentive and helpful, the food was absolutely delicious and the room was lovely. The location was fantastic although the weather put paid to any chance we had of sitting in the grounds. If you get the opportunity to stay at the Glenfinnan House Hotel then do take it. An absolutely wonderful get away location."

"We were there during the weekend when the town held a special event about mountain bike. Luckily, the hotel was out of the city centre, so the night was peaceful and quiet. The room was spacious. Only one particularly dislike was that from the bathroom window, the afternoon sun was so strong that we could have got sunburn sitting on the toilet. And there was no curtain on bathroom window. Well, it was a very unusually sunny that day. "

"It provides basic accommodation, which was all we required for an overnight stay, while walking the Great Glen Way. I would not choose the Ox for a longer stay, but the chalet was clean and reasonably well appointed and the staff were friendly."

"The room presents a simple setup for the price, relatively small but clean. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and we had to request an extra pillow each. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking and EV chargers which was a bonus."
