"The room was very comfortable and clean with all the amenities you needed for your stay. We had a twin bed room and the beds were comfortable with extra blankets and pillows in the room. "The service was wonderful. The staff helped arrange things like taxis and a horse ride and made sure I got breakfast before an early morning tour (excellent scones!). They were especially accommodating on my last day when I was taking a late train, allowing me to shower and have a place to hang out for a little while in the late afternoon. "Very clean property. Hotel looks a bit tired and maybe could do with a makeover. Food very expensive for what you receive. We stayed in the lodge while it was very clean the shower was not fit for purpose, no pressure and if you are over 5foot8 impossible to get under shower head.
