Couldn’t fault the room, the greeting at reception, however during the depths of Winter, arriving at 6.30pm, having the front window shut and perhaps some low setting of heating would have been more inviting on arrival. "Perfect stay for budget trip to skiing at Falls Creek or Mt Hotham. Have personally stayed here several times over more than 10 years and never been disappointed. The decor may not be to everyone’s liking, however the comfort, quietness and cleanliness cannot be faulted."

Host was awesome and warm and helped with everything from bike trails to dinner recommendations. Beechworth also a great surprise with so much personality and lots to do both in town and out. "
"What a fantastic place to stay in Beechworth!! A lovely old hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, this place was incredible value. I only stayed one night but will definitely stay here again next time I visit Beechworth. The room was small but comfortable and it's very quiet despite being upstairs at a big pub. The bathrooms are outside the rooms and very clean. Highly recommend!"
