Great hotel on the Mosel

Our first hotel during our bike trip along the Mosel. Loved the place. Also, the bikes arrived safely from our transport company. Good food and beer! Excellent restaurant for dinner

The room had a balcony with view on the vineyard. Bed was spotless, room was clean and quiet. People was really nice and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful location by the river Mosel. Wery nice staff, clean hotel. Downside was the railroad on the back of the hotel. So if possible request room from the riverside.

We had a very plesant stay at Hotel Sewenig. The owners was very fantastic! They had the ability to make our vacation complete!

This was a last-minute booking so I could stay overnight and see Burg Eltz in the morning. It worked out great. It is a very old building, but my room was cozy and the bathroom was super modern. The room even had an AC unit which I did use. The one small window didn't let too much air or light in but the bed was comfy and I slept well. I did not have breakfast.

Charming hotel by the river in Mosel

We stopped by for a short stay after a road trip through Europe. This is a charming and friendly hotel located by the Mosel River. It’s close to local sights and picturesque small towns with restaurants and more. Vineyards are just around the corner. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and had a great sense of humor. We had dinner at the hotel – delicious food paired with local wine. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a small terrace. The only downside was the train passing right outside – it startled us a bit and disturbed the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Still, we highly recommend the place – everything else was absolutely lovely

Nice stay near Eltz Castle

I was looking for a close place to stay while visiting Eltz Castle. The walk up to the castle was very scenic but difficult in some areas. I wanted to hike to it because I didn't want to bother with crowds of people, so I took more of a leisure way up. The room was big and spacious and it is situated in a very quiet area in the town. It was nice to get a good nights sleep.

Fantastisk service, perfekt läge

Det var en fantastisk vistelse på Hotel Sewenig! Rummet var stort och med fantastisk utsikt mot vinodlingar. Läget perfekt i en lugn by med närhet till Cochem med bara ca 15 minuter med bil. Boendet precis vid Mosel. Vi åt även middag en kväll på hotellet och det var bland det godaste vi ätit under vår resa vid Mosel-floden, så ska du bo här rekommenderar vi även att du äter en full meny i hotellets restaurang. Servicen var fantastisk. Vi kommer att rekommendera alla vi känner som ska till Mosel att bo här och vi återkommer själva gärna.

Wir haben selten ein so freundliches Personal erlebt. Total bemüht und wirklich sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war gut, eher in der Qualität als in der Quantität aber das war voll ok. Wir hatten eines der noch nicht renovierten Zimmer, welches aber sehr sauber war. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und kommen alleine wegen des Personals/der Eigentümer gerne wieder.

Gute Zeit an der Mosel
