"The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger...

"My shower leaked so bathroom floor was wet all the time. There was mould in the shower .no Fridge. There was litter left in one corner of the room . Breakfast was pretty underwhelming but well staffed and managed. The bed was awful , lumpy and uncomfortable. Ill not be staying here again . It was cheap and I know why. Only one small lift for wheelchair users so if youre a large party or if u have lots of luggage better stay on the ground floor.
The staff were pleasant and helpful.

"The AC was broken down in the entire wing in the heat of summer. Staff brought fans but that did not help as the windows couldn’t open either. My family and I had no sleep or rest during our entire stay."

"They offered a sit-down complimentary breakfast that looked good; unfortunately, I was pressed for time and had to just grab some pastries off the table.
