Dream sleep!!!!!

Most comfortable sleep we had in all if Italy! Bed and pillows were a dream! Host was lovely, spoke little English but it was just fine. Down the street was a great pizza shop we enjoyed and also a great barber shop my husband received an excellent hair cut. The walk down the street is a but sketchy but not far. Would highly recommend this stay

Für Region Pompei sehr empfehlenswert

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber mit hervorragendem Service (wir hatten allerdings gewohnheitsgemäß ohne Frühstück). Zimmer sehr klein, aber alles da, was man braucht. Umgebung ist nicht sonderlich toll, die Eigentümer haben dort aber eine einladende Idylle geschaffen. Bei Besuch in dieser Region buchen wir in jedem Fall wieder dort.

5 Star B&B, all excellent!

We had a great night stay in the room we spent the night. Very clean, very welcoming and well lighted. A full breakfast, all great!

Hôtel bien placé sans être au centre ville

proximité avec les ruines de POMPÉI ; si nous l’avions su , nous n'aurions sans doute pas pris une location de voiture à partir de Naples. Le manque de trottoirs en général est surprenant surtout quant un passage clouté traverse la rue et abouti à un mur de chaque côté . En contrepartie , les conducteurs sont cool et très attentifs aux piétons comme aux cyclistes , ils sont très fair-play. Si vous n'aimez pas les pizzas et les pâtes , n'y allez pas , il n' a pas d'autre nourriture. Le pris d'une bière peut varier pour la même dose et même marque de 2 euros (Scafati) à 6 euros à Naples ou Pompéï. Les deux pizzerias proches du logement sont à recommander ; Dans l'une , une charmante employée , Olimpia , parle Français et est serviable au possible . Elle nous a fourni de la charcuterie de grande qualité à prix coutant ; Merci encore Olimpia !

Convenient for Pompeii

Lovely people. Very small, only 4 rooms but they make a great effort. Don't be fooled by the pool photo, it was smaller than our room. Excellent breakfast, nothing too much trouble.

Basic

The hosts were very welcoming and eager to help but it was just not great place to stay. The neighborhood is fairly far from the ruins, no windows in the room, tiny shower and you could hear the conversation going on in the next room.

Great but far

It was a great place to stay, but it was far away from where we wanted to be.

My boyfriend and I would highly recommend B&B Pompei il fauno. The location looked scary when we arrived but it ended up being close to town, a fantastic restaurant and a great market.

Hostess did not speak English but was able to communicate everything just fine. Made us feel very welcome. One of the nicest rooms we had stayed in. Only downside was the area the hotel was in was not very nice.

Other place better

At first Eduardo was friendly and helpful, we were provided informations.We paid 5 nights after 4 nights we lelft, impossible to sleep. Located next a busy street, if you intend to leave the door open (no window) just forget it. Room is clean, but small, the shower is very tiny, need to step out to soap yourself(I can picture someone a bit heavy). Swimming pool is just a tub. Wifi is unpredictable (stop time to time) Wall is thin, could hear the one next door. The garden has no touch,fews pots, next the tub (pool) a mess fews chairs and beds sun no harmony. When, I said to Eduardo, we were leaving because it's a noisy place, he showed himself disagreable , arrogant, I have to said when we cheched in, I mention the noise. he propose us a quiet aprtement but more expensive,"what for, we didn't intend to cook. We paid cash 5 nights, I ask him my invoice, he refuses to send it to me "it's againt the law" Hotel com called him, but he was no there, so I blocked my credit card.

Good family owned, clean and close to Pompeii area

Owner is great and welcoming. They try to comfort us every way they can.

Far better than expected

A very warm welcome. Our room had a beautiful roof top terrace with sunloungers included in a very reasonable price, Swimming pool well maintained, and a lovely addition after a hot day site seeing Safe off street parking Owner keen to help, lent guide books, provided an extra key etc. Area had local street side fruit stand, and shop.

Hosts' special attention to details

We had a pleasant two nights stay at Il Fauno. The room was clean and cozy. We were provided information about where to eat out or to buy food, directions where to go for transportation and to locate the archeological site (we ended up walking as it is not that far). Eduardo also provided us with a DVD of Pompeii, which was very thoughtful, and with a book about the site, which was helful during our visit. What we keep from this stay is the attention to details from our hosts. Everything we needed was there, even the multi pluggers to recharge all types of electronic devices! The room and facilities were well attended for and the kitchenette was stocked with everything we required. The facility is fenced with keycard access, so it felt safe to leave the car.

Perfect for family

We had a lovely stay, 3 kids and 2 adults. Close to Pompei and Vesuvio. Also took the car and went to Sorrento and Capri. A stay for 2-4 days is perfect. You need a car. Only thing, skip the swimhats!:-)

Proche des ruines de Pompéi

Accueil agréable et sympathique. Chambre propre et agréable. Petit déjeuner avec gâteaux et confitures maison. A quelques minutes en voiture des ruines de Pompéi.

The best B and B in Pompeii.

The whole BandB experience was outstanding and nothing was over looked for the guests stay,and the owners check list of sights and distances very helpful.The local pizza restaurant was one of the best in Italy in our estimation.

5min train ride to pompeii

a little of the tourist track but 10 min walk to circumvesuviani which is an excellent way to get to pompeii, hurculanium and sorrento staff very helpful, good breakfast
