Great weekend trip!
Employees at front desk were efficient and helpful with restaurant suggestions and help with Ref River Gorge information. The hotel was clean and our room comfortable. We used the clean, fully equipped fitness room and enjoyed breakfast both mornings with a variety of food choices.

When I took a shower my bare feet "bled" muddy water. This means the room rug was so soiled that my bare feet had become filthy duing the very few mintues I had been barefoot in the room. I've only ever seen this from hotels with outside hallways. I was shocked that the carpet could be so soiled. On the other hand, my room was perfectly quiet. It was away from the the highway but even on the highway side in the lobby and at breakfast etc it seemed perfectly quiet.

Everything was as expected for my stay. The hotel was nice, the staff treated me well, and my room was clean. It's out of Holiday Inns control, but the hotel is the only property on the street that is upkept. The other properties are in various stages of urban decay.

The room was really clean. Wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom and the thermostat was sticking so it was either 63 or 78 in the room, nothing in between.

EXCELLENT HOTEL WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE
I WANT TO THANK, TASHA, WHO WORKED THE CHECK-IN ALL ALONE. I CALLED DOWN TO THE FRONT DESK AND ASKED ABOUT GETTING KEURIG CUPS BECAUSE THERE WERE NONE IN THE ROOM. SHE SAID COME DOWN IN A FEW MINUTES AND I WILL GET THEM. I WAITED AND WENT DONE, THERE WAS A HUGE LINE OF PEOPLE CHECKING IN. I WENT BACK UP AND THEN CAME DOWN AFTER A FEW MORE MINUTES, MORE PEOPLE COMING IN THE DOOR. I HEARD HER SAY, WE ARE SOLD OUT. WELL, I SAT DOWN AND WAITED UNTIL SHE WAS FINISHED. WE WENT TOGETHER TO THE 2ND FLOOR AND SHE GOT ME THE KEURIGS. SHE WAS SO VERY NICE. I ASKED HER WAS SHE DONE FOR THE NIGHT AND SHE SAID NO, I HAVE 17 MORE COMING TO CHECK-IN. I TOLD HER SHE WAS DOING A GREAT JOB. SHE TOLD ME THE OTHER GIRL QUIT. I THINK TASHA DESERVES A BONUS ON HER CHECK FOR ALL OF THIS. SHE SMILED AS SHE GREETED EACH CUSTOMER. THE HOTEL WAS VERY NICE. I THINK THERE NEEDS TO BE 2 ELEVATORS INSTEAD OF ONE. LOVED THE WALK-IN SHOWER!!! THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD AND THE LADY WORKING DOING THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY SWEET TOO. I VISITED MY FAMILY THAT I HAD NOT SEEN IN YEARS. IT WAS A NICE TRIP. VERY NICE HOTEL FOLKS.
