"Nice hotel near Nelson central, quiet if you get s room away from the road. Clean room but the armchairs and carpets are old and need regular cleaning. Comfortable bed, welcoming staff.
No lift so I found it hard to carry the luggage upstairs.
Restaurant was nice, full on a Tuesday night! Good variety in drinks, meals good too but arrived late as they were short staffed.
Overall a good stay for that price, I would recommend."

"The owner/maybe manager is exceptionally hospitable. He makes you feel very comfortable. My room was very clean, bed was great and it was extremely quiet. One block from the town center road. Restaurants and supermarket around the corner. Highly recommend!"
