"Every time we travel to Taupo we stay at Mototere holiday park. It is clean, well maintained and friendly staff. Trout fishing over the road is good. Trucks passing on main road through the night we thought would be a problem, after our first stay it didn't become an issue at all. Only 15 minutes travel from Taupo it is a excellent place to rest up and relax. Thank you Mototere holiday park, we will be back"

"Fantastic place to stay in Taupō. We booked a basic cabin but were given a cabin with a mini kitchen and lots of extra space. Having a kettle, microwave, sink etc was very helpful and contributed to a comfortable stay. We were also given a small bottle of milk for teas and coffees in the room. The cabin was cosy, warm, and very close to the shared bathroom facilities. The facilities at this resort were spotless, spacious and there were an abundance of showers and toilets. The thermal baths...

"Good value for money. Kitchen utensils were a bit light, and frying pan needed replacing. Could do with new beds and pillows. Comfortable and roomy."

"I booked this motel because it advertises a restaurant and bar. On arrival both were closed. If it is not open on a Sunday they should advise customers."

"Absolutely adored my stay here. Just wow. What a lovely place. The decor was so cute. Bed was very comfortable, a king size. The kitchen was well stocked. Bathroom was great. The property itself is lovely and convenient to town. Hosts were kind."

"Beautiful, peaceful setting in comfortable accommodation overlooking the lake. On premises restuarant was also very good although menu was a bit limited."

"We were only here for three nights but loved the time we had here. It was welcoming, spotless and our fridge was stocked everyday with breakfast foods, even bacon. The kitchen was really well stocked as was the rest of the house. For us, instead of being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves at night, we were able to hear the river and drop off to sleep with that beautiful sound, it really was a luxury home away from home. "Very tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished accommodation with lovely views out over Lake Taupo. The suite had everything we needed and more. Lots of lovely little touches. Breakfast was excellent. Liz and Steve were very welcoming hosts and we would not hesitate to recommend Belle Vue. We shall certainly stay here again if we come back to Taupo."

"The shower was really dangerous for .elderly people, no safety handles on shower walls and nowhere except the floor for shampoo, caked soap etc. we will not be returning as there are no facilities for a make your own breakfast and not even a plate or knife to have some fruit"
